Hopefully you have the day off and are gearing up for some fun times with friends and family. Today we celebrate the day America declared independence from Great Britain by eating way too much grilled food and then blowing up colorful bombs that we call fireworks because they make it sound nicer. (Oops, just used the B word. Now We’re likely on some watch list. All well.)
Be safe out there with your fun, and don’t forget to take a moment to thank or pray for someone in the military who has/is currently serving to protect our nation.
Bill & I will be in the DC area for grilling and fun with friends. We were told to bring lots of corn for cobbing. But I’m also bringing these.
Well, not the marshmallow bits. But the rest for sure! Gotta love patriotic Jello Shots! 🙂
