When I gave the quick tutorial on an old Girl Scouts craft I used to do, I had only made the treat, but hadn’t addressed them. In the holiday rush, I had nearly forgot to tag them and leave them in our neighbor’s mailboxes!
To make the tags, I actually used the handy printable tags created by Ana of Love Party Printables (Original tags Found here on Catch My Party) and altered them to make them larger for the candy cane and to accommodate an added ‘from apartment 3’ on the back side.
I simply cut them apart with my scrap-booking cutter and trimmed the ends.
Next I folded each tag in half before I used double-sided tape to wrap the tags around the reindeer to add their festive message.
Once they were finished, it was time to send the little candy reindeer on their way for each of our neighbors in their mailboxes.
So now we’re sure that the holiday cheer has been spread throughout our building.
We’re off to Philly to visit with my family for Christmas, but keep your eyes open next week for some DIY gifts that will be revealed – once the recipients get them of course!
