Yup, I’ve jumped on yet another DIY bandwagon – the COVER EVERYTHING IN SWEATERS! wagon. Only, I’m drawing the line. Soft fuzzy cozy sweater pillows? Sure! ….but why does my flower vase need to be cozy? It doesn’t.
But I found this super comfy sweater for under $4 at Goodwill and thought it would be the perfect texture for a winter sweater pillow. (I pulled it inside-out to prep it for the project.)
The trouble with taking the time to find the coziest sweater is that it makes it very hard to NOT want to wear it! Kinda like Rory in the pilot episode of Gilmore Girls…
But sadly bumming around in cozy over-sized sweaters really only works for Gilmores and days you get to work from home. So, never for me.
So I took an old pillow and sized it up, using the bottom hem for the edges of the envelop style. Then I even used the sleeves to wrap a smaller pillow too.
So now we can snuggle up under the blanket with our cozy winter-ized pillows.
What snuggly things have you been working on?
